To create a button on an applet.
 
1. The first step is make sure that Siebel Tools will compile your scripts into the right directory.

 
2. Locate Contact List Applet.

 3. Add a Push Button to the Contact List Applet.
 4. Add Server Script to the Contact List Applet.
 

Click on WebApplet_PreCanInvokeMethod in the tree view.
 Click on WebApplet_PreInvokeMethod in the tree view.
 

 In Edit Server Scripts > General Section declarations > Create a function.
 5. Add Browser Script to the Contact List Applet.
 Select the Applet_PreInvokeMethod from the tree control.
 6. Compile the Application.
 7. Genbscript
