Symptoms
On Siebel 8.1.1.4 SIA with Siebel CTI Toolbar and Internet Explorer 8 browser, if Siebel Application is deployed with SSL using HTTPS protocol the following behavior is observed:
Siebel CTI user login the IE 8 browser pop up message: "Security Warning - Do you want to view only the webpage content that was delivered securely? This web contains content that will not be delivered using a secure HTTPS connection, which could comprise the security of the entire webpage" always show up.
The IE security zone parameter "Display Mixed Content" in the Trusted Zone, which is the zone for the Siebel Application, is set to Enabled as recommend in Document 1066053.1 "Siebel version 7 & 8 settings for Internet Explorer versions 6, 7 and 8" but it does NOT avoid the security warning.
