After applying 18.104.22.168 fix pack, check boxes on the applets do not display in High Interactivity (HI) mode.
Open UI has NOT been enabled. The browser is Internet Explorer 8.
In Standard High Interactivity for 22.214.171.124 under IE 8:
1. Go to Administration - Data > List of Values
2. Review Active, Translate and Multilingual fields.
Result: Check boxes and/or tabs are not displayed properly.
