How to set the HTTPSleepTime for the Siebel Reports Integration with Oracle BI Publisher (Doc ID 1527690.1)

Goal

This document amends the existing KM document "How to increase the HTTPSleepTime for the Siebel Reports Integration With Oracle BI Publisher (Doc ID 859193.1)"

 

Doc ID 859193.1 mentions "EAI HTTP transport sleep time for Siebel Reports can be set via Tools, for Siebel 8.1.1.7 Or later versions." But this is not the case as of Siebel 8.1.1.9 yet. Also it describes how to set HTTPSleepTime on "EAI HTTP Transport" business service using Siebel Tools. While this approach is relevant, it may affect all other Oubtound HTTP calls. This document provides an alternate way to set HTTPSleepTime for the Siebel Reports only.
