Last updated on MARCH 01, 2018

Applies to:

Siebel CRM - Version 8.1.1.3[21219] and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The customer has created a view with a parent and child applet that map onto VBCs with class CSSFABCVRec. Relationship is 1:M. The workflow calls a web service that returns parent and child data. The user property Populate Child Data is set to Y on the parent so that the workflow is called for the parent and the parent and child are populated with the output.

The customer has defined the following user properties on the VBCs:

Parent VBC

Enable Caching, N
Outgoing Integration Object Name, T2 Balance Info Int
Populate Child Data, Y
ProcessName, T2 Balance Information VBC
Service Name, SIA Billing Extern Service

Child VBC

Enable Caching, N
Outgoing Integration Object Name, T2 Balance Info Int
Outgoing Integration Object Name: Search, T2 Balance Info Int
Populate Child Data, Y
ProcessName, T2 Balance Information VBC
Service Name, SIA Billing Extern Service

When a user goes into the view the parent and child applet are populated. If the user refreshes the view and the web service returns no child data, the child applet isn’t refreshed and the previous child records are still displayed.
