With standard workflow "ISS Promotion Upgrade Process", there is step "Apply New Promotion", this step calls internal steps:
Business Service : Configurator Service, method BatchValidate.
BatchValidate can return wrong results if the underlying call of GetLinkedItemValues uses cached linked item values instead of recalculating them.
