MLOV Field data is not translating in Siebel BI Publisher reports. (Doc ID 1532669.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 04, 2019

Applies to:

Siebel Reports - Version SIA [21238] and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

In Siebel multilingual environment, when the report is executed in non-ENU application, MLOV fields data is displayed in English.

Steps to Reproduce Issue

1. Consider a Multilingual Siebel environment which is in ENU (English (United States) ) and PTB (Portuguese (Brazil)) which is integrated with BI Publisher.

2. Create the LOV values for the Status field as below

For example: consider the 'Status' field of Service Request, modify its associated LOV type with the below values for 'Open' status.

    LOV_TYPE: SR_STATUS      Value = Open         LIC = Open        Language = ENU

    LOV_TYPE: SR_STATUS      Value = Ouvert       LIC = Open        Language = PTB

3. Run any Service request report from Service Request List view

4. Observe that Status field for the fetched records shows the value as 'Open' instead of 'ouvert'
