HTML Tags in SBL-DAT-00498 Message for Required Fields (Doc ID 1548798.1)

1. Create a new record in the ‘FORM APPLET’ in the Accounts/Contacts screen and attempt to save the record without populating mandatory fields like Account Name, Account Type etc.
2."'<FONT COLOR='#333399'>Account Type</FONT>' is a required field.  Please enter a value for the field. (SBL-DAT-00498)" or <FONT COLOR='#333399'>Account Name</FONT> is a required field.  Please enter a value for the field. (SBL-DAT-00498)"message pops up for the fields which are ‘Required’.
3. This behavior is seen not only for fields which are made ‘Required’ using ‘Required’ field property but also for fields which have a field user property defined as ‘Required’.

Note:- We are able to replicate this behavior in the sample/vanilla database also, with SIA [23016] ENU(*) patch applied. One observation here is that, we do not see the HTML tags in the error messages in version of the application where the error messages

You can change the style of text strings that are stored in the Caption  property of a control and the Display Name property of list columns by  embedding HTML tags in the property values.
