Product Type: Siebel Universal Customer Master
Version: SIA [21238]
OS platform: Red Hat Enterprise 2.1
Env type: Production

Statement of Issue:
The AIA MDM PIP is being used to integrate Siebel CRM and UCM. AIA calls the PersonService web service in UCM to insert/update contacts, which invokes the workflow UCM Person Customer Profile Integration SOAP Process. The data sent for 1 contact is very large. The workflow invokes a WPM task to execute UCM Async Realtime Publish Workflow to publish the contact. The problem is that the WPM task is taking over 3 minutes to execute and, during this time, CPU increases to 100%.

Expected Behavior:
The WPM task doesn’t take so long to execute UCM Async Realtime Publish Workflow.

Actual Behavior:
The WPM task is taking a number of minutes to execute UCM Async Realtime Publish Workflow.

Business Impact:
It is taking longer than expected to publish the data and CPU is increasing to 100%, which is slowing down the application.
