Symptoms
When adding HTML code to the calculated value, the HTM code is displaying in the Open UI field instead of the field value color.
The behavior can be reproduced in 8.1.1.9 and 8.2.2.3 in IE and Chrome with the following configuration:
1. In Service Request BC, create a new calculated field called “Test Message” with the following
Calculated value: '<font color = "FF0000" size = "3pt">' + [Abstract] + '</font>'
Immediate Post Change: True
Type: DTYPE_TEXT
2. In the Service Request Detail applet, add a control for the field “Test Message”
HTML Type: Text
HTML Display Mode: DontEncodeData
3. Expose the field to the applet
