The Browser Health Check does not detect Java SE Runtime Environment 7u21 (JRE 1.7_21). (Doc ID 1564554.1)

Symptoms

When JRE 1.7_21 is installed on the client PC, the Browser Health Check may show the following message while the web client is launched. This message is not shown when JRE 1.7_17 or previous version has been installed.

 

 "Siebel Browser Check"

Your browser is not configured correctly to run the Siebel application. Click Auto Fix to update the settings selected below. You may clear the recommended settings before running Auto Fix. You may click Run to run the Siebel application after all the required settings are fixed.

(It may be >=1.6.0, depending on the version of Siebel Server)

Once "Run" is clicked, the web client starts up successfully, and Java can run without problem.
