CRM Desktop : Issue With Native Cell Phone Field In Outlook

Customer had a field validation in the Cellular Phone # in the Contact BC that validates if the phone number has a proper format. This validation uses a BS custom made and it has been working as expected. After the installation of CRMD, customer was unable to create contacts (in CRMD/Outlook) because while synchronization they get the below error:
EAI Adapter Call Failed with the error: Current Seach specification is too complex to be refined.

The cause of the issue is that Outlook is applying regional settings over the field,even when customer don't fill any country code, it always adds +1 to the number,for example, if I wrote 700000000 and it would write into the BD would be +1700000000 and if we fill all the fields in the mobile phone # window, it changes the format into +1(254) 700-0000 x01.
How can we disable this regional setting formats?
