After browser refresh (F5), browser history is not generated on Windows XP + IE8

Information in this document applies to any platform.
(1) Login Siebel Application on Windows XP + IE8
(2) Navigate a couple of views
(3) Show the browser history. You can see that all visited views are added to the browser history.
(4) Refresh browser (F5 or browser refresh button)
(5) Navigate a couple of views again.
(6) Show the browser history. You can no longer see the visited viewed in the browser history.
