Enter Key Does Not Execute In Home Page Search and Home Page Add Applets in Open UI (Doc ID 1581427.1)

Symptoms

Using the Enter Key to run a search in the Home Page Search applet does not execute the search instead the applet is changed in Base mode. The same can be reproduced as follow:

STEPS

  1. Go to Opportunity Home screen
  2. Search for Opportunity = A1
  3. Press the Enter key

Actual Behavior: The applet is changed in Base mode as shown in the screenshot below.
