Symptoms

Siebel Bookshelf "System Monitoring and Diagnostics Guide Version 8.1, Rev. C" > Chapter 4, Configuring Siebel Server and Component Logging > Configuring Siebel Server Component Logging > Common Event Types for Siebel Application Object Manager Diagnostics

has following information.

- Event Type Name

Object Manager Data Object Log

 

- Event Type Alias

ObjMgrDataObjLog

 

- Log Level Setting

However, this event type does not exist on Siebel 7.7 and later version. While "change evtloglvl" command on srvrmgr does not fail even if specified event type (ObjMgrDataObjLog) does not exist, some information are not collected correctly.
