Query by Date Brings Datetime Format in Open UI (Doc ID 1601542.1)

Symptoms

Starting with Open UI, when query by a date field, the date picker returns
datetime format. This limit the result set to that specific datetime.



STEPS

  1. Log into Open UI.
  2. Navigate to Service > All Service Requests.
  3. Click Query button.
  4. Enter 12/12/2016 in "Date Opened" or any other date field.
  5. Tab out of the field.
  6. The date now incorrectly updates to "12/12/2016 12:00:00 AM"; thus, the query is executed against "12/12/2016 12:00:00 AM".
