Spell Check Not Working In Open UI

When using the spell check button multiple times in succession, after the first use, the spell check applet opens without the text to check and without any buttons on the applet.
1. Create a note in Opportunity > Notes applet with misspelled text in the description.
2. Click the Check Spelling button.
3. Cancel the Check Spelling pop up applet.
4. Click the Check Spelling button again.
Result: The applet appears without the Description text and with no buttons.
