8.1.1.9 Login Page Refresh Issue (Doc ID 1607902.1)

Symptoms

On : 8.1.1.9 [23016] version, Installation

Siebel Login page refresh


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Open new browser window and type in HI or OUI url - Click enter
2. Siebel Login page displays
3. User enters User Id and Password
4. User either clicks Enter on the keyboard or clicks the arrow icon (login) on the homepage
5. Page refreshes and user can see the login page again **this is the issue***
6. User re-enters User Id and Password
7. User either clicks Enter on the keyboard or clicks the arrow icon (login) on the homepage
8. This time (second try), the user is logged into the application and he/she can see the homepage

 

Note:This issue only happens when you are trying to upgrade from a lower version to 8.1.1.9 FP. It does not happen for a fresh installation of 8.1.1.9 FP.
