Applet ‘Reset Defaults’ feature is not taking affect automatically after any new changes made on Applet (Ex: Re-arrange the columns, Hide or Show List Columns). Hence user unable to see new changes on applets untill user clicks on 'Column Display' > ‘Reset Defaults’ each applet that has been modified and logout properly or save as user profile to store as user preferences. How to Avoid User Click 'Column Display' > ‘Reset Defaults’ on Each Applet that has been Modified for Each Release and Each Desired Applets?
Its possible when Admin deleting the preference file on the server (spf files). However users might lose some other settings which may be undesirable OR Its possible to reset the setting on the server, however it will reset the setting for all applets (including the one not changed).
How to achieve this without deleting .spf files or resetting from server side?
