"Search Results" Fails With SBL-DAT-00398 or SBL-UIF-00276 Errors

Symptoms

High Interactivity

In High Interactivity (HI), two 'Search Results' links are displayed in the search results view. After a search operation is executed, the results are displayed in the first "Search Results" view.

- A click on first "Search Results" link shows the search results displayed recently.
- A click on second "Search Results" link displays a message similar to the below:   

Cannot open file: C:\Siebel\8.1.1.11.0\ses\siebsrvr\webtempl\Search_Result_CCAppletList_B_EL.swt.(SBL-UIF-00276)

 

Open UI

In OpenUI, the same two 'Search Results' links are displayed in the search results view: but results are displayed in second "Search Results" view.

 

- A click on first "Search Results" link displays the below error:

Field 'URL' does not exist in definition for business component 'Search Results Body'. Please ask your systems administrator to check your application configuration.(SBL-DAT-00398)

- A click on second "Search Results" link shows the search results displayed recently.

 

Steps To Reproduce
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Configure Siebel Search functionality Siebel and Oracle Secure Enterprise Search (OSES or SES) are integrated.
2. Index some search categories.
3. Execute a Siebel Search operation.
4. If the component is HI, click the second "Search Results" link; the SBL-UIF-00276 message is displayed.
5. If the component is OpenUI, click the first "Search Results" link; the SBL-DAT-00398 error message is displayed.
