Siebel 8.1 OpenUi - Email Templates - Missing Hyperlinks/URLs With F9 Functionality (Doc ID 1629184.1)

Hi,

This is issue with the F9 (send Email) functionality using the ‘External Email Client’ as Email Client in 8.1.1.10 OpenUI environment.
Browser: Chrome

We have below user preference to make the F9 functionality to work in OpenUI environment

User Preference setting:
Outbound Communications :
Field: Email Client to value: External Email Client
Default Message format: HTML

Issue:
When the email HTML template has Hyperlinks (shortcuts) those are converted as plain text instead of showing as links

This behavior noticed when with OpenUI in Chrome and IE8. Issue reproducible using sample DB and SRF (Dedicated Client).

I have attached the email Template I am using and the output Outlook email Draft generated with Siebel F9.
(Template based on Opportunity object.)

In the email template I have given 4 links
1. URL with Hyperlink Work (text)
2. URL with Hyperlink as same URL
3. URL with Hyperlink Work (text) -- Siebel bookmark URL
4. URL with Hyperlink as same URL ---- Siebel bookmark URL
Note: Same templates are working fine when using 8.1.1.4 ActiveX version.

We have both 8.1.1.4 ActiveX and 8.1.1.10 OpenUI running on same Database.
