In Open UI, ascii characters are not displayed in Japanese font even if the language code is JPN. For example, if a field has a backslash, HI mode Japanese application shows Japanese Yen sign because Japanese font for the backslash is Yen sign. But backslash is displayed as backslash in Open UI Japanese application. This is because all ascii characters are displayed in non-japanese font in Open UI Japanese application. This document will show how to use Japanese font for all characters in field data.
