Open UI: Issue with Quick Search on List Applets

On List Applets, a quick search (input field and dropdown field) is available. Currently, the input field is placed on the left and the dropdown field on the right.
If the text to search is entered in the input field and then a value is chosen from the dropdown field, clicking back into the input field will delete the text to search previously entered.
The screenshot below show the input field (the white box with the text 'Search' inside, at the left of 'Query' button) and dropdown field (the dropdown field with text 'New') in Service Requests List Applet:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Service > Service Requests List
2. At the right of Query button, there is an input field and a dropdown field. Enter a text in the input field, then select one value from the dropdown field.
3. Go back to the input field: the text entered in Step 2 disappears.
