Open UI - Application Hangs When Trying To Load The Currency Pick Applet

Using Siebel 184.108.40.206 patchset 4 the application sometimes hangs when editing the revenue currency on the Opportunity List Applet and on the Opportunity Form Applet.
Steps to reproduce:
1. In the Opportunity List View on the List Applet, open the currency popup for the revenue field.
2. In the Currency Code field of the Currency Popup Applet, click on the magnifying glass.
3. In the Currency Pick Applet, select ‘Cancel’ or ‘OK’ (without changing the currency code).
Result: The Currency Pick Applet closes and the hour glass displays.
4. Immediately repeat Steps 1 and 2 (hour glass is still running): a popup will show "Loading... Please wait...".
5. Close the popup.
Result: Eventually, the hour glass will stop running and it is possible to try again.
If in Step 3 the currency code is changed before hitting "OK", Steps 1,2, and 3 can be repeated without any issues.
Thus, it appears there is a problem if the currency code is edited, but not changed..
