Dbchck Fails with "Memory Segmentation fault" (Doc ID 1682469.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to perform dbchck utility it crashes with Memory Segmentation fault and the following call stack is obtained:

Steps to Reproduce
---------------------------
1. Execute dbchck utility

2. A core file is generated and utility fails with below message:
    Memory Segmentation fault (coredump)
