Mouse Cursor Does Not Remain Busy During Query Execution in Open UI (Doc ID 1684618.1)

Last updated on MARCH 02, 2017

Applies to:

Siebel Call Center - Version 8.1.1.9 [23016] and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

When trying to execute a query from any home page or within the List Applet, the mouse cursor will be shown as BUSY (circling) for some time and then changes to an Arrow.

Yet, the query at the back end is still running and will produce the results. The issue is that the User thinks that this query is not executed as soon as the cursor changes to ARROW. This will result in non-responsive of the application.

How can the cursor be set to remain in a Busy state until the results are displayed?
