Symptoms

Siebel Remote - on version 8.1.1.11.7 [IP2013]:

On a Development environment, after upgrading from Siebel version 8.1.1.10 to 8.1.1.11.7 (PatchSet 7), Database Extract (DbXtract) task is failing for certain user:
-errors returned into srvrmgr command line tool (after trying to start task for comp DbXtract) were:


SBL-ADM-60070:Error reported 'siebsrvr01' follows.
SBL-SVR-01042: Internal: Communication protocol error while instantiating new task
SBL-SMI-00077: Component error, see the trace file for more information

Review of the detailed DbXtract_*.logs identified also lines like these:

Impact of the issue: Developer users' databases cannot be extracted anylonger after this upgrade to 8.1.1.11 PS7 even if before extraction was working fine.
