Bundled Promotion: Cardinality Ignored For Components (Doc ID 1902980.1)

Siebel Orders - Version [IP2013] and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.


Steps to reproduce:
1) Create new Test Account or select an Account without Assets installed
2) Navigate to Account Summary View
3) Installed Assets Applet: Click New to create a new Quote
4) Select Product “Basic High Speed Internet”
5) Create an Order using Auto-Order
6) Validate the Order and fill all required fields (e.g. Tax amount is null)
7) Submit the Order - > Order Status moves to “Open”
8) Manually change the Status for the Order and all Order Line Items to “Complete”
9) Select each Line Item and use “Auto Asset”
10) Verify that the Bundled Promotion shows up in the Account Summary View; Promotion and all 3 Products are displayed
11) Select the “Modem” and invoke method “De-Bundle Promotion” from the Applet Menu Item
12) New Quote will be created which contains the Modem Product only
13) Repeat steps 5-9 to create Order and Update the Asset
14) Verify the Asset in the Installed Asset Applet: Asset is still available but the field “Promotion” is empty (No Error message that Cardinality has been violated)
15) Create a new Quote (New Button) and select the “Wireless Router” Product
16) Repeat steps 5-9 to create Order and Asset
17) Verify the Asset in the Installed Assets Applet: Asset has been created (Correct)
18) Select the newly created Asset and invoke Method “Add to Promotion” from the Applet Menu Item
19) Repeat steps 5-9 to process the Order/Asset
20) Verify that the Promotion contains 2 Wireless Router Assets (field Promotion filled for both); again no warning/stop regarding Cardinality violation
