The cancel query feature allows users to stop their slow or incorrect queries. If the query does not return records within a given number of seconds (the timeout period), a dialog box appears, which allows the user to cancel the query. The cancel query feature is enabled through the CancelQueryTimeOut OM parameter.
Problem here is cancelquery timeout feature only works if query gets executed from list or form applets, if query gets executed from landing applet of default view of screen, it does not works.
Below are steps:
1) Login to application.
2) Navigate to Account screen, here just click account screen and do not select any view (eg. My Accounts, All Accounts..etc)
3) It will show quick query landing applet, if query gets executed here, cancelquerytimeout feature will not work and popup wont come to cancel query.
