Bounded Picklist not Working in Query Mode Applet in Open UI (Doc ID 1914022.1)

Symptoms

The bounded picklist is not working in query mode applet in Open UI.

When Open UI is enabled, the picklist field allows the user to enter any value in the field. 

When Open UI is disabled (using the High Interactivity client), the picklist field behaves correctly as a bounded field and does not allow the user to enter any other value in this field.

STEPS
1. Launch the Consumer Goods application.
2. Navigate to the Sales Orders Home Page (Query Mode).
3. Execute a Quick Search: Enter any value.

Result: Any value is accepted.
