This KM is intended to provide clarification around the supportability of performing an upgrade to a Siebel installation whilst said installation resides in an Oracle Golden Gate (OGG) environment.
Customers performing Siebel upgrades would want to ensure the product downtime is kept to the minimum possible. These customers may have chosen to use Oracle Golden Gate (OGG) as part of a solution to help them do so.
