Open UI Browser Script SetProperty For ReadOnly Is Not Working Properly (Doc ID 1916906.1)

Siebel version :
Database version : DB2 9.7
OS version : Windows 2003

After upgrading to and enabling OpenUI (from we have following behavior:
We're using a browser script to set fields read only according to a previous choice of the user. This worked fine with HI but with OpenUI fields are always read only. So the user cannot enter the information required.

1. User choose e.g. "zeichnung"
2. Field 'name' and 'date' should be available to enter data, field 'info' readonly

Browser code on the applet:

Actual Result: All fields are read-only, no data can be entered

Expected result: Some fields should be writable
