Siebel Mobile Connected Sales application - on version 18.104.22.168.8:
In a Test/Development environment, on a custom Form Applet having long field labels, following un-wanted behavior was observed:
- the field labels seem to hide behind the fields in Base Mode (label text appears partly truncated);
- but when in Edit Mode the same fields' labels appear sometimes on 2 rows (if containing a space) or overlapping with the editable field control...
As a workaround to improve the layout of the applet in Edit Mode, a different Symbolic String was defined "Zufriedenheits- analyse/Bemerkung" to force splitting of the label on 2 rows.
However, it would be nice, if field labels could behave in consistent ways on Base and Edit Mode on form applets.
Impact of the issue: Inconsistent label display behaviour in Base/view mode vs. Edit mode.
