While implementing Availability-Based Assignment, Assignment Manager invokes ApptBook component for getting available employees when the assignment rule has 'Check Employee Calendar' = Y.
Using Siebel Field Service appointment booking system with Siebel Scheduler for interactive assignment of activities, defined number of service regions with different sets of employees and alos defined a schedule at the service region level. The assignment rules have the service region as one of the criteria and the "Check Employee Calendar" has been set to "Y". The assignment is working correctly for selecting the qualified employees per assignment rule.
However, for one of the business requirements defined a non-working employee exception hour at the employee level but the employee is still appearing in the list of candidates for the activity. Clicking on the "Load ABS" button post the change on employee exception hours, noticed that employee exceptions are not taken into account when evaluating the employee availability.
