Open UI: Browser Script ShowModalDialog Is Not Working In Chrome Version 37

Symptoms
In Open UI application,there is custom applet with Button. Its method first calls "intRet = theApplication().ShowModalDialog("temp.htm", arr, sFeatures);. Based on User response for Yes/No further code flows. It is working fine in ALL browser EXCEPT Chrome. Even Chrome version 36 its working. Chrome version 37 it is not working. In UI cursor revolves for long time and release the control back to UI with no action.
STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log in to Siebel Open UI using Chrome 37
2. Click the button on the applet that invoke the theApplication().ShowModalDialog method.
3. In UI cursor revolves for long time and release the control back to UI with no action.
