Pricing 'Context' Propertyset 'Account Type' Not Getting Value Populated For Asset-Based Orders (Doc ID 1937567.1)

Last updated on MARCH 02, 2017

Applies to:

Siebel Configurator Runtime - Version SIA [21238] and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On : SIA [21238] version, Order Management

It has been observed that the Siebel pricing 'Context' propertyset 'Account Type' is not getting its value populated using the variable map 'Default Pricing Variable Map – Context' and 'Cfg Eligibility Variable Map – Context', when 'Customize' is clicked on an order line that has an associated asset.

New order lines, with no associated asset, have these 'Context' variables populated correctly, so the issue is specific to order lines with associated assets.

A blank 'Account Type' prevents the 'Dynamic Pricing Procedure' WF and 'Pricing Procedure - Calculate Net Price' WF from retrieving the proper discount matrix records that are based on 'Account Type' designations, which results in incorrect pricing being presented to the customer.

Following entries can be observed in detailed log file for a replication of the issue, while invoking 'PSP Driver Workflow'. The output for step 'Get Context Row Set' includes an empty value for 'Account Type'

The situation is observed in a customized environment even after applying settings as suggested in Note # 477465.1
