Siebel Email Sending Daemon or Siebel Click Through Daemon Windows Services Could Not Be Found After Successful Run Installers (Doc ID 1942483.1)

Symptoms

After install Email Marketing Services daemons ESD, CTD with success the Windows Service Siebel Email Sending Daemon is not created and user can not start ESD or CTD daemons.

This is happening no Windows 2003 and Windows 2008.

After successfully run the installers and ESD and CTD software is installed there is no Windows Service to start the daemons. It works fine for BHD daemon, after install BHD we can see the Siebel Bounce Handler Daemon Windows Services, but not for ESD or CTD.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Run the install files for ESD or CTD
2. Once the install wizard is completed without any errors we configure the properties file
3. At this point we want to start ESD and CTD, but there is NO Windows Service created to startup the daemons.
