FS Holiday API Business Service - GetElapsedBusinessTime Not Working As Expected with Exceptions (Doc ID 1946865.1)

Symptoms


 GetElapsedBusinessTime method of FS Holiday Business Service returns incorrect values when a Exception rule is used.


The following behavior was reproduced on standard 8.1.1.11.11 version issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

Navigate to Administration Service -> Schedule screen and define a schedule as follow:



Start Day         Start Time          End Time           Type Shift                Start Flag

Monday               08:00 AM            23:59            Normal                       N
Tuesday             12:00 AM              23:59           Normal                       N
Wednesday         12:00 AM              23:59           Normal                       N
Thursday             12:00 AM              23:59           Normal                      N
Friday                   12:00 AM             05:00 PM      Normal                      N

Define an exception as follow:


Start Date Time - 9/16/2014 05:00 AM
End Date Time - 9/16/2014 06:00 AM

Navigate to administration Business Service -> Simulator and execute "FS Holiday API Service" BS , method FS Holiday API Service

Input Arguments


Start Time - 09/15/2014 10:00:00
End Time - 09/16/2014 10:00:00
Time Unit – Hours
Calender Id - the id of the schedule defined
Schedule Time Zone - NULL

When the exception is set the output is not as expected
Output – 21.00
Expected result - 23.00

Without Exception the output is as expected
Output – 24.00
