Bounce Handler Daemon (BHD) Doesn't Start On Windows Server 2008 After a Successful Install

Symptoms


Customer has installed BHD on Windows Server 2008 R2 and configured it properly.

When trying to start Siebel Bounce Handling Daemon in Windows Service the following error pop up: "The Siebel Bounce Handling Daemon service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs."

Steps to reproduce:

1. Install BHD component on Windows Server 2008 R2 and configured the bhd.properties
2. Start Siebel Bounce Handling Daemon

Customer sees following error: "The Siebel Bounce Handling Daemon service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs.".

The BHD log folder is empty.
