How to aggregate Buckets based on Transaction Date?
Siebel Loyalty has functionality to make Order-Level Frequency Promotions. Such promotions aggregate (accumulate) data from multiple processed transactions with same Order Number to bucket row with corresponding Order Number on Bucket. Only one bucket row is created for each Order.
Business needs more complex bucket aggregation functionality based on transaction date.
Need to accumulate various attributes of transactions, committed by members within time period specified in Loyalty promotion.
For example, if 1 day period on promotion is set, bucket should be created for each unique (by day) transaction date of processed transaction. Subsequent transactions with corresponding Transaction Date should update existing bucket row.
This functionality will give the ability to track how many specific Product member purchased or how much money spend per day (specified period).
Other case is to make counters for specific rewards, for example, make promotion rule that rewards extra points only once per day (specified period).
