Internet Explorer 8 Freezes/hangs On Web Client (Doc ID 1961054.1)

On : SIA [23030] version, System Admin

The issue is that Internet Explorer 8 freezes/hangs on Web Client

IE 8 freezes when an user try log in to the application after he logged out. Here the steps to reproduce it:

There are no errors reported

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1> log into sseobjmgr_enu (http://<SWSE Web Server>/sales_enu)
2> navigate in the application and make something
3> log out from siebel application
4> in the same IE Session open another web page (
5> try to log into the application Sseobjmgr_enu (pfde-crmprd-ap0/sales_enu)
6> IE 8 freezes

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot use the same browser session that was previous used for siebel application. .
