Symptoms

On : 8.1.1.11 [23030] version, Installation

When attempting to run the image creator utility (snic.sh) to create the 8.1.1.11 installation image for Server (for OEL 6.5), the utility is failing with JAVA_HOME.

ERROR

JDK/JRE not found. Please set JAVA_HOME Environment Variable to the correct value.

ENVIRONMENT
--------------------
8.1.1.11 on OEL 65. 64-bit

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Download 8.1.1.11 23030 SIA sebl_aru Patch Number 17470764 from My Oracle Support > Patches & Updates
2. Extract all zip files to a folder:
3. Set JAVA_HOME
4. run snic.sh

BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, user is not able to proceed with the installation of 8.1.1.11 since the image creation is failing. This will delay user to move to 8.1.1.11.
