Siebel Open UI - Email Preview in Communications Screen Causes Browser to Hang

When an inbound email with empty tags <title></title> is previewed in communications screen, it caused browser to hang and application gets unresponsive.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Send a inbound email with attachment with content of <title></title>
2. Check the inbound email in communication screen.
3. Try to open the email which results in browser hang.
