Bulk Request is not Accepting the Date Format DD/MM/YYYY while Updating Attribute Value in Actions. (Doc ID 1970664.1)

Symptoms

When using Bulk Request to modify an Order and update an Attribute value of type 'Date' the Line Item Attribute field is not populated as expected

The Bulk Request Action Set contains:
   i. Action Code: Update
  ii. Base Product Name: Base Product containing the attribute to be changed.
  iii. Attribute Name : Attribute to be changed
  iv. Attribute Value: A date value to set the attribute.


Try to pass the date value in the format dd/mm/yyyy.

When the Attribute value is in 'dd/mm/yyyy' format the Quote Item Attribute is getting stamped with null value. However when the attribute is in 'mm/dd/yyyy' format the Quote Item Attribute is getting stamped with correct date value.
