LOY Engine Batch Populating Object Queue Several Times Before Processing It, Contributing To Slow Performance (Doc ID 1970797.1)

The performance of Tier processing by the Loyalty Batch Engine was seen to be slow.

Investigations revealed that the same SQL was run several times to populated the tier queue. The SQL should only be run once.

In testing this behaviour was also seen for Transactions.
