IP14 OpenUI With IE And Compatibility Mode (Doc ID 1985375.1)

Goal

The customer have a problem with the document compatibility mode with Internet Explorer 10 and OpenUI (IP14).
Siebel OpenUI runs in the "Standard" document compatibility mode.
They are integrated some external frames with GWT (google Webtoll kit) over SymbURL. These external frames have to run in the document compatibility mode "IE-5 Quirks".

Siebel with OpenUI (IP14) doesn't run in the "IE-5 Quirks" mode.
Is it a requirement that OpenUI runs in the "Standard" mode or are other modes available ?
