When The CTI Toolbar Loses Connection To The Siebel Server There Is No Indication To The User

Information in this document applies to any platform.
When the CTI toolbar looses connectivity to the server (caused by network disconnection or ChannelCleanupTimer) the following occurs:
1. The menus that invoke CTI commands are disabled
2. The CTI toolbar buttons are enabled (not expected)
3. The CTI toolbar buttons are unresponsive and the user is not immediately aware there is a disconnection problem.
The customer would like to know if there any mechanism to alert the user that the CTI Toolbar has lost the connectivity?
