Information in this document applies to any platform.
1. Navigate to Accounts -->Accounts List
2. Tab into Account Class
3. Select value and press keyboard Delete
4. Notice that the Picklist is open and first value(Billing) is preselected.
The same behavior reproduces in other screens. For example:
Opportunities-->Opportunities List -->Sales Cycle
On any List or Form Applet, when the user selects a control which has a static pick list bound to it, when using the "Delete" button to delete the value and tab out, it will select the first value from the pick list instead.
When using Backspace, the value is wiped out from the control.
"Delete" actually opens up the pick list and the by-design behavior is that tabbing out will select the first value in that case.
"Delete" is expected to behave like "Backspace'".
