Column re-order is not saved when list applet has Auto Query Mode = New Query (Doc ID 1989343.1)

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

We have upgraded Siebel 8.1.1.2 to 8.1.1.11 patch set 13

One of the custom list applet by default it will open as query mode. Once the End User get into the view in the query mode list applet they will swap the column as per their need and navigate to the other views and again come back to the Old view the swap won't be remained.

Also the Column Displayed applet menu item is not enabled for this applet when it is in query model.

Currently this issue is happening in production and all the End users are affected due to column swapping.


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

The custom layout of the list columns should be saved

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Configure list applet to automatically go into query mode using Auto Query Mode property = New Query
2. Navigate to view having the list applet and modify the ordering of some list columns when the applet is in query mode.
3. Navigate to a different screen/view.
4. Navigate back to the original view - notice the re-order of the list columns has not been saved.

BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot see their previous setting for the column sequence.

Changes

Reconfigure the list applet to automatically go into query mode using the Auto Query Mode applet property with value New Query.
