(Doc ID 1990230.1)
Last updated on FEBRUARY 03, 2019
Applies to:
Siebel CRM - Version 8.1.1.11.8 [IP2013] and later Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
On : 8.1.1.11.8 [IP2013], Configuration - General
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR --------------- The requirement is to display the Find results with multiple drilldown links to go to the respective views. To achieve this, drilldown is configured using the Drilldown properties of the Find Field object for the required fields. This works fine in High Interactivity (HI) application, and the drilldown links appear for the configured fields. However, in Open UI application, the configured fields are not showing as a link in the results. Only one field contains the drilldown link.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR ----------------------- Multiple drilldown links should be showing in the find results in Open UI application.
STEPS ----------------------- The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps: 1. Create a new Find object named "ATest Contact" with the following properties: Applet: Contact List Applet Display Name - String Override: ATest Contacts
2. Add in the following fields in Find Field:
Field: Account Drilldown Business Component: Account Drilldown Destination Field: Id Drilldown Source Field: Account Id Drilldown View: Account Detail - Contacts View Sequence: 4 Display Name - String Override: Account Display in Results: Y Display in Entry: Y
Field: Last Name Sequence: 2 Display Name - String Override: Last Name Drilldown View: Contact Detail View Display in Results: Y Display in Entry: Y
Field: First Name Sequence: 3 Display Name - String Override: First Name Display in Results: Y Display in Entry: Y
3. Add in the following views in Find View: View: All Contacts across Organizations Sequence: 1
View: Manager's Contact List View Sequence: 2
View: Contact List View Sequence: 3
View: Visible Contact List View Sequence: 4
4. Add "ATest Contact" find object in "Siebel Power Communications" application object under "Application Find". 5. Compile the changes. 6. Login to eCommunications in HI mode. Click on the search toolbar button. Select "ATest Contacts" and perform an empty query. In the find results, the "Account" and "Last Name" are displayed with links. This is as per configured. 7. Login to eCommunications in Open UI mode. Click on the search and select "ATest Contacts". Perform an empty query. In the find results, only 1 drilldown link is available.
